Mussoorie, with its green hills and varied flora & fauna, is a facinating hill resort. Commanding snow ranges to the north-east, and glittering views of the Doon Valley & Shiwalik ranges in the south, the town presents a fairyland atmosphere to the tourists.
Its history dates back to 1827 when Captain Young, an adventurous military officer, explored the present site and laid the foundation of this holiday resort which now has few rivals.
ITINERARY (Duration : 06 Days)
Day 01 - RISHIKESH: Arrive Rishikesh and transfer to JG Camp, Brahmapuri (12 km). Overnight stay.
Day 02 - RISHIKESH - PANTHWARI: After Breakfast drive to Panthwari via Mussoorie 135 Kms. Lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03 - PANTHWARI - NAGTIBBA: Today we will go for 10 kms trek to Nagtibba with pack lunch. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04 - NAGTIBBA: After breakfast 3 kms trek to Nagtibba top with pack lunch. In the evening return trek to camp site. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05 - NAGTIBBA - DEVALSARI: After breakfast 16 kms trek to Devalsari. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06 - DEVALSARI - DEVALSARI - RISHIKESH: 8 kms trek from Devalsari to Thatiur with pack lunch. drive to Rishikesh via Mussoorie - Dehradun(115 Kms). In the evening arrive Rishikesh.
